How to make money by owning a Bonus Factory?
The Bonus Factory receives money from its clients for melting crystals into bonuses. Payment can be made from the purchase account, the passenger account, or direct payment. By wisely optimizing the expenses of the Factories, their owners earn on the net profit between client service payments and expenses for licenses, rent for workshops, upgrading the Factory and workshops, and employee salaries.
To become the owner of a Bonus Factory, you need to build the corresponding building on the interactive map of Taxi-Polis:
- Select a free plot or purchase a new one in the desired area of Polis. Click the "Build" button.
- Choose the "Businesses" tab and click the "Build" button in the "Bonus Factory" block.
- In the newly opened window with the levels table, click the "Build" button again, and your Bonus Factory will appear on the selected plot.
Immediately after construction, the Bonus Factory can only provide services for your taxis. On the "License" tab on your Factory's page, purchase a license that will allow you to service any taxis in the city. To do this, you need to top up the main account of the Bonus Factory through direct payment.
Initially, you will have one workshop open. As needed, you can open new workshops by clicking the "Open Workshop" button. The maximum number of workshops per factory is 4.
After opening the Factory or a new workshop, you need to select a bonus that this workshop will produce. To do this, click the yellow gear button and choose a bonus from the "Active Bonus" dropdown list.
You can also configure the cost of your services and cashback — for each payment method separately.
If necessary, you can temporarily disable any workshop.
The list of available bonuses depends on the level of the Factory building. At the first level, you can only produce bonuses that increase taxi experience. Increase the level of your Bonus Factory to unlock the following bonuses:
- Level 2 — Reducing fuel consumption.
- Level 3 — Luck and increasing order value in competitions.
- Level 4 — Reducing rest time.
- Level 5 — Reducing energy consumption.
- Level 6 — Reducing order execution time.
- Level 7 — Increasing order value and reducing ability recovery time.
To upgrade the level of your Factory building, go to the interactive map of Polis, find your Bonus Factory building, and click the "Upgrade" button. Besides unlocking new bonuses, upgrading your Factory building will speed up the production of bonuses in all workshops and increase your influence points in the city (which will increase your passive income from all commissions and taxes in the area).
It is also advisable to increase the level of each workshop. This will increase the bonus size, reduce production time, and extend the duration of the provided bonus.
To increase the level of a workshop, use the green arrow button in the respective workshop block or the blue "Upgrade Level" button on the workshop settings page.
When providing any service from your Bonus Factory, the cost of materials will be deducted in the form of crystals. The number of crystals is calculated automatically and depends on the taxi being serviced. Make sure the crystal account at your Bonus Factory is ready to provide the offered services.
On the "Personnel" tab of your Bonus Factory, you can create a job vacancy (use the "Company Vacancies" link for this) or directly invite a potter to work (use the "Invite Player" button).
Once you have employees, you can change their reward percentage on this tab — from 20% to 80% of the order cost (use the grey gear buttons for this) and pay them their wages (use the green or red buttons on the right).
Using the "Promo" tab, you can elevate your Bonus Factory to the top of the available factories list — don't forget about this option to attract the maximum number of clients.
In the settings tab, you can always change the name and description, upload a logo, and modify the background of your factory's page.
